Water is used as a metaphor throughout the Bible for a reason. But it’s not just about having something to drink!
Water is a fundamental aspect of human existence. Without it, we simply cannot survive.
It helps to maintain clean and safe living and working environments. It’s essential for agriculture. It’s crucial for personal hygiene. Safe water is vital for preventing the spread of diseases, especially during and after disasters.
Giving someone water is a deeply spiritual act. You can partner with us to bring water and sanitation to the people who need it most through your donation to the Water and Sanitation programme.
Water tanks, plumbing infrastructure and water education helps communities to thrive. Anglican Missions supports innovative programmes like Bricks for Life, that teaches modern farming techniques which enables local farmers to maximise crop yields for sale or to store during drought/flood.
Without a consistent supply of water, people are easy targets for the spread of disease and sickness. Keeping the places where we live, work and take care of ourselves clean and sanitary is incredibly important.
Safe water enables people to do basic things we take for granted like washing our hands or brushing our teeth. Access to hygiene isn’t just about keeping clean though, but retaining human dignity.
You can provide nutrition outcomes to the parents and children of RSNF.
