Our Hope for the Holy Land Appeal supports hospitals in Gaza and the West Bank
When an emergency happens, people need help immediately- that is why we work to help communities afflicted by disasters and conflicts right away. One of the main ways we work in humanitarian emergencies is through our Appeals. Following the event of an emergency, we work alongside our partners in the Anglican Alliance to create an appeal as soon as possible. Together with Anglican agencies across the globe, we raise money to support the humanitarian initiatives of local churches afflicted by emergency. View moreAnother humanitarian initiative of ours is the Emergency Fund. We pull from our Emergency Fund to help communities and agencies that reach out to us for humanitarian assistance. Instead of an appeal which is started at the onset of an emergency and requires fundraising, our Emergency Fund is always on hand to respond to requests for aid. The scale at which we can support a humanitarian response depends on the amount of money in our Emergency Fund.
