Jesus came to the world for "us". But who is "us"? The Israel and Gaza conflict offers insight into the broken world Jesus came to save.

In the business world, the term “mission” is used by a company to explain, in a short and simple way, its reason for existing. It’s not much different for us here at Anglican Missions.
The term “Mission” is used to describe the great “co-mission” – Jesus’s final instructions to his disciples. It’s our reason for existing.
To Christians, Jesus is more than just a historical figure. His life, ministry, death and resurrection represent the most supreme act of love ever seen by humanity.
Mission means reaching out to proclaim the love of Jesus to all humanity, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or political affiliation. It’s an essential part of who we are, and it empowers us to reach out into the places and to the people who need help the most.
To help you get engaged with Mission Month, we’ve developed some fresh new resources that you can use to engage with the 5 Marks of Mission.
The Five Marks of Mission were developed by the Anglican Consultative Council 1984. Since then, they have been widely adopted around the world, as an understanding of how to define the term “mission”. They are a set of guiding principles that focus and give bones to the work of the church in places and communities around the world. They are our core values and we weave them through all of the work we do at Anglican Missions.
Some churches abbreviate the five marks to five words, and we follow the same naming scheme: TELL – TEACH – TEND – TRANSFORM – TREASURE.
Our mission work is aligned with the first two marks of mission: Tell (Share the good news of Jesus Christ) and Teach (Nurture new Believers in Faith). All of our work is measured, in some way, against a Mark of Mission. While the Marks are deeply Christian in principle, they do not proclude or exclude anyone from recieving aid or support for Anglican Missions.
Transform unjust structures of society, challenge violence and pursue peace and reconciliation

Learn more about "Treasure"The New Zealand Church Missionary Society (NZCMS) was formed as an independent organisation by the Church of the Province of New Zealand, and nurtured within the Anglican Church of Aotearoa, New Zealand, and Polynesia. It was, and is, an evangelical organisation, seeking to mobilise the Church to be effective locally and globally.
We partner together because we share a common vision, which is why we support NZCMS by covering 50% of mission partners costs. Mission partners serve in a range of jobs including practicing medicine, teaching and church planting.
We seek to obey the call of God to proclaim the Gospel of God’s grace in Christ Jesus to all peoples and extend Christ’s Kingdom throughout the world.
Our work takes us into all parts of the world, and calls us to proclaim the love of God without discrimination and to whoever needs it.
