Anglican Indigenous Network (AIN) - Anglican Missions

Anglican Indigenous Network (AIN)

The importance of global collaboration and unity has been highlighted during the pandemic.

The AIN facilitates this collaboration and unity across the global Anglican Indigenous communities and networks to ensure that spiritual and social development is grounded in Indigenous values. Member countries include Australia, Torres Strait Islands, Canada, USA, Hawaii and Aotearoa.

While this year these countries cannot physically congregate due to Covid-19 related travel restrictions, resources will be focused locally to achieve AIN’s objectives which includes ministry to indigenous congregations, tackling climate change issues and conducting outreach programs on plastic pollution.

AIN supports the Tikanga Maori Mission Council’s participation which provides the opportunity for Tangata Whenua to strengthen their siblinghood in faith and collaborate on solving global issues such as climate change.
