Collaboration and unity across the global Anglican Indigenous community ensure that spiritual and social development is grounded in indigenous values.

Supporting the Tikanga Maori Mission Council to participate in the Anglican Indigenous Network provides the opportunity for Tangata Whenua to strengthen their siblinghood in faith and collaborate on solving global issues such as climate change.

Covid-19 related travel restrictions means there is limited opportunities for the physical gatherings of the network. However, resources will be focused locally to achieve AIN’s objectives which include ministry to indigenous congregations, tackling climate change issues and conducting outreach programs on the pollution of plastics.
