For us, this is the heart of mission. Anglican Missions funds Christian mission on behalf of the Anglican churches in Aotearoa (Maori), New Zealand (Pakeha), and Polynesia. (We call these three Anglican churches the ‘Three Tikanga Church’.)
We fund people to go out on mission, primarily through our partner NZCMS. We run aid and development projects. We coordinate appeals for emergencies such as natural disasters, with a focus on the Pacific region. And, we act as a global missions agency.
We nurture new believers, evangelise, serve others by responding to human needs, transform the unjust structures of society, and preserve the integrity of creation (see Five Marks of Mission).
Parishes, individuals and anyone who believes in what we do can get involved and support our work through donations.
We are run by a small, dedicated and hard-working team based in our Wellington office, and governed by a Board of representatives from each Tikanga and from NZCMS.

We raise and allocate funding for our mission activities from Three Tikanga Church parishes and rohe (Tikanga Giving), and from individuals across the globe. We have a number of ongoing projects that we support year to year, and run emergency and other appeals as they are needed.
We have strong and trusted relationships with Anglican and other like-minded agencies. We work with Anglican Overseas Aid, Christian World Service, and the Anglican Board of Mission
We’re honored to be a member of both the Council of International Development and the Anglican Alliance.
