01 – TELL

The world is in need of the Gospel. God’s plan to save the world includes us, his disciples, to go where he calls us. We can’t do this alone, and Jesus doesn’t ask us to. We must lean into each other and the Holy Spirit for guidance, direction and support.

02 – TEACH

The world is in need of the Gospel. God’s plan to save the world includes us, his disciples, to go where he calls us. We can’t do this alone, and Jesus doesn’t ask us to. We must lean into each other and the Holy Spirit for guidance, direction and support.

03 – TEND

Through prayer, generous giving, embracing change, and discovering our unique roles, we can actively participate in tending to the lives of those who are suffering and in need.

04 – TRANSFORM

In a world plagued by darkness, anger, and injustice, we are called to be agents of transformative change modelled throughout the span of scripture.

05 – TREASURE

“Treasure” calls us to actively protect the integrity of creation by examining not only our own consumption patterns, but how advocacy in small ways can ripple outwards to affect significant change.

FAQs

Contact us through our contact form, let your Parish leader know, and read our Mission Motivator Handbook for tips on where to begin. It's that simple!
You will be the mission champion in your church. You can tailor your role to suit your skills and interests. You could design a mission noticeboard for your church, write a mission-related prayer for your service, organise an awareness event for one of our projects, or update your church on a project they are supporting.
You will work directly with the Anglican Missions team and your Diocese mission representative who will support you and answer any questions. Anglican Missions will send you bimonthly emails with ideas on how to champion mission in your parish and updates on our projects. There will also be occasional Zoom meetings to meet other Mission Motivators across the country, discuss upcoming events, and ask any questions.
You can dedicate as much or as little time as you have. If all you have time for is to stand up during church notices once a month to update your congregation on the project they are supporting, then that is wonderful! No matter the amount of time you put into this role, we are so appreciative of you.
